The Marky Experience

So one day my videographer friend Sam comes to me and asks can I shoot his friend, Marky.  She was a senior in high school at the time and wanted her senior photos done by Sam.  He referred her to me since he was a video man and myself a portrait photographer.

This little ball of endless energy strolls into the studio with the biggest, friendliest grin you could imagine.  I immediately knew I was going to have a great rest of the day.  We started shooting in the studio for a while before ending up on the side of a mountain shooting images like the one in this blog.  Never a dull moment nor a quiet one!  She can instantly find a common interest in whoever she meets.  Be sure to eat your Wheaties though..she never stops!  My point is this; I can take any type of photo and be thrilled to be taking it.  People, places, objects, it doesn't matter.  It is the people I come in contact with such as Marky that make my life with a camera just that much more memorable and exciting.  I hope that we all meet and befriend more individuals such as her...
